Jak’s has an extremely buzzy ambience with just the right amount of people inside. It’s sophisticated with a laid-back vibe and was the perfect place for the evening.
The bar wall is covered in different types of cocktails, so your only problem is picking which one to order.
Georgie and I couldn’t decide what we wanted and asked the bartender to whip up something fruity for us.
The result was passionfruit martinis.
Alex went for a watermelon martini. Her friend, Georgia, ordered something that I could bullshit about and pretend I knew what it was but I actually forgot to ask and therefore am unable to comment…
I realise there is more pictures of us than the drinks themselves but it was so nice seeing everyone and got carried away with the camera. It was one of the rare occasions where the drinks took second place. Can’t believe I just typed that.
The table next to us ordered a bowl of pasta to share, which I was drooling over but I couldn’t face having another meal after dinner on top of the cocktails, and decided it was far more fun to drink my calories. I realise I get food envy far too much.
And I also realise I look like a creep.
