Lick Frozen Yoghurt is fat-free, probiotic and completely natural. It’s actually the only frozen yoghurt in the world made of 100% yoghurt. Originally from Brighton, they now make their frozen yoghurt in the UK’s only completely carbon neutral dairy, supplying Lick to shops all over the country. Not only that, but their packaging is pretty damn cute.
Now for the taste test. We picked our weapons of choice.
It sounded like the most interesting combination out of the lot.
I was too excited. There were strawberry swirls in the delicious froyo.
I started to tuck in. Let the taste test begin!
Obviously, no taste test would be complete without my trusty companion, Hannah.
As expected, it was delicious. It was Hannah’s favourite flavour as she absolutely loves elderflower. It was so light and fresh, it’s definitely a spring flavour – it tasted like frozen spring.
Next up was Lick’s Blueberry & Raspberry.
I love a good berry flavour, but a lot of the time it’s too bitter, so I was excited to try this one.
What a beauty. It was like love at first sight.
In all honesty, I was expecting it to be a little too tangy and slightly bitter, like a lot of berries. But this was actually my favourite. It had such a vibrant flavour, like a burst of berries. It was so so good. Hannah agreed, although she still preferred the Elderflower & Strawberries.
The next flavour was the one I was the most excited for. My sister, Ming, had bought this flavour before, and had raved about Lick. Ming and I have very similar, if not exactly the same tastes, so I already knew I would love it.
Banana & Honey, I’m ready for you.
A delicious Banana & Honey swirl.
Oh. My. God. Just as I had expected.
I couldn’t stop. I was addicted.
As much as I wanted to keep it for myself, I had to get Hannah to try it right away.
It was the holy grail of froyos, and the overall favourite between us. It had an amazing banana flavour (who doesn’t like banana?) and satisfies every craving. It’d definitely be the fan favourite, and it’d be the go-to safe flavour for anyone who doesn’t know what to go for.
Last up was Lick’s Straight Up flavour – their natural froyo.
It came in one of their one portion cups.
I never really go for a natural flavour, I always like ones with a little summin’ summin’. But I was willing to give it a go.
The natural had a great, creamy texture. It wasn’t tart like most other natural froyo. It’d be a great base with any toppings – I’d probably add berries on top. Or warm chocolate brownie. Or both.
Hannah agreed with me completely.
All in all, Lick is pretty damn delicious. If you’re lucky enough to live in the UK, you can get it in Sainsbury’s, Whole Foods Market, on Ocado, or plenty of other random places. I can’t get over how good it is for you. DELICIOUS AND LOW CALORIE? It’s like a dream. A dream in a frozen tub.
*Just an FYI, I don’t get paid for these posts. It’s all genuinely my (and Hannah’s) own opinion. And when I say this shit is delicious, you know I know what I’m talking about.
