It’s very chilled, apart from the fact that there aren’t reservations, so prepare to fight for a table as it gets super busy at peek times. Thankfully, we went late morning of a weekday.
I was joined by these smiling faces once again.
I was smiling too. Mainly because I’d read the menu many times online before and knew I was in for a treat.
The food and menu layout is very similar to Cosy Club. It was the same Yummy Mondays and Tapas Tuesdays thing going on.
Brunch served all day? My kind of place.
There were orange juices, coffees and teas ordered all around.
I love how cute the teapots are. Gives it such a homely feeling.
And a little self-promotion.
Mum got the Lounge Breakfast. This Asian chick can eat.
Dad got the most interesting dish – Lounge Dirty Baked Beans, which was BBQ pulled pork, cannellini, butter, baked beans, fried egg and toasted ciabatta. pulled pork with baked beans. It didn’t look like what he expected it to, but then again I have no idea what I thought this dish would look like.
I knew I should have got something healthy. Maybe even the Vegetarian Lounge Breakfast to get my extra veg in. But every part of me yearned to get the Egg and Bacon Stack – eggy bread stack and bacon drizzled with golden syrup. It’s always a bad idea to have icing sugar on your breakfast. But it’s also the best idea EVER. BEST IDEA EVER.
As long as these two were happy, I was happy.
Well, not only for that. I was very happy anyway for various other obvious reasons.
