After spending all day at the beach club, we arrived back to the villa to see how gorgeous they’d made it!
It was Frankie’s 21st Birthday Dinner (an early celebration) and the theme was White With Feathers.
We hustled off to shower, scrub up and carefully arrange feathers on ourselves. I love a good theme.
The next thing you know, everyone had arrived and everyone looked fabulous. It’s always so much fun when people make such an effort.
Drinks were flowing and chat was flying.
Everything had to be perfect. Everything.
Scotty was a trooper and took a plunge into the pool to straighten the balls out. What a guy.
Thankfully, it was dinnertime. As always, I was freaking starving, especially when I’ve tried not to overeat since I know a 3 course meal would be coming my way (that means no 6 o’clock snack).
I avoided the bread like a good girl (this dress showed everything there was no hiding) and focused on the Gazpacho instead.
The evening was incredible. The entertainment started off with the best – a slideshow of photos of Frankie. I carefully chose to upload the least embarrassing photo, she would have killed me with any others!
All of the performances were absolutely incredible as well. This guy had the voice of an angel and played amazing versions of so many classics that we all felt we had to get up and dance to.
I don’t know what it is about Ibiza. Everything is just 100x more fun than anywhere else. Maybe the warmth and the alcohol?
The Roast Rack of Lamb rubbed with Rosemary and Lemon Zest, Ibiza Red Potatoes with Parsley and Perona Beans was so good.
I don’t know if it’s acceptable to pick up the lamb and make sure you get the last of the meat. Probably not, but I think I did it pretty sneakily that no one noticed. I’ve been brought up not to waste an ounce.
Soon after the main, we were quickly up and dancing again, this time on the stage. It’s only a matter of time before someone falls in that pool.
Then the rest of the entertainment began. There were performances by people that you would have definitely stumbled across on Youtube, and I don’t even know which I enjoyed the most.
The Boy with Tape on his Face is apparently a Youtube sensation. He’s a comedian who doesn’t speak (obviously, since he has tape on his face), and I genuinely thought it would be a little crap, but he was hilarious.
Then there were these two guys. Completely naked. Dancing with towels and tossing them around. I really thought they were going to drop one or something bad was going to happen. The professionals that they are though, you didn’t even get a glance at anything good.
Last but not least, the Cuban Brothers, who were just amazing. However this time, you definitely did get a glimpse of something more.
And to top it off, it was enjoyed with our particularly pretty Eton Mess.
… And someone falling in the pool.
It was only a matter of time, wasn’t it?
Drunk and happy, we headed out to Pacha to continue dancing the night away!
