I’ve been to Sketch a few times before, but never for breakfast. That’s why when Chessie suggested it for breakfast, I couldn’t have been happier. This was going to be fun.
I love Sketch. Everything about the place is wonderful.
There are many different areas of Sketch, but breakfast is located in The Parlour.
Isn’t the menu beautiful?
Chessie and I ordered Almond Milk Cappuccinos. They looked and tasted insane.
We were working on a little 3 Kinds of Ice and Breakfast London collaboration. 3 Kinds of Ice is the app Chessie works for, you should check it out!
On another note, check out this cute cow milk pourer! I want!
And the beautiful teapots and cups.
Things were getting real with photography. We were constantly chasing the natural light.
A tip for those wanting good pictures when visiting: Sit on the two tables next to the window.
Let’s talk through the breakfast options we ordered. Hooray! Chessie and I inhaled every dish after, so I can give you the rundown.
The most BEAUTIFUL Granola. Greek yogurt, lime infused honey, pumpkin ice cream. I’m not so keen on pumpkin (therefore the pumpkin ice cream not for me) but the rest was delicious.
And, holy crap, okay. This is Fried Eggs with Avocado and Ketchup. Yep, actual fried eggs. Tempura style. Crazy, right?
Next up, Soft Boiled Eggs with Cauliflower Velouté and Smoked Salmon.
The soft boiled eggs are snuggly tucked under the smoked salmon.
Last up, Homemade Pancake with Grenadine Cream and Grapefruit Jelly.
I’m not a fan of grapefruit either, too bitter. So once I avoided that part, it was fantastic. Look just how pretty it is. I only wish there was more pancakes – it’s small for a whole dish. Actually, all the dishes are pretty small. No wonder we didn’t have a problem eating up all the dishes!
A few more shots and it was time to eat.
All the eggs were perfectly cooked. Look at that yolk porn from that fried egg. Gahhhh.
As we were finishing up, the pastries came out. Oh gawd.
I noticed people have breakfast meetings around us, and it made me realise what a nice place it was for that. I’ll be back, Almond Milk Cappuccinos!
