Coffee at Forum Coffee Shop, Bath

The Summer Ball is a bit of a big deal in Bath. Sure, you get to dress up, drink and play all around campus, but it’s also the last event of the University year. For me, it was the last event of University life overall (well, apart from graduation), so it was an even bigger deal. The drinking starts early – for us it was as we were getting ready. After that, it’s a tradition to head to the Royal Crescent to see everyone, drink and take a billion photos. Then it was onto a party bus, then the ball itself.

So as you can imagine, I was pretty damn hungover the next day. Get me a coffee and a croissant, stat.

Boy had driven to Bath to pick me up and haul my life into the car, then we made sure to stop off at Forum, one of my favourite coffee houses in Bath.

It’s a cute place, right? They have a shelf full of bits and bobs to check out while you’re waiting for your coffee to be made. I’ve stood there and flipped through that coffee guide a fair few times! For anyone who has been there, I’d like to think you’ve done the same. You also might have checked out these flyers.

Oh yeah, I’m feeling appy.

Ordoo is an app that lets you order and pay in advance at your favourite cafes and coffee shops so you can skip those damn queues whilst earning some bad boy loyalty rewards.

We should have downloaded it in our phone earlier, actually. I could’ve rolled out of the car and picked up the coffee instead of having to find somewhere around the corner to park (and Bath is BUSY on the weekends!), as well as having to dive deep into my wallet to gather some change.

Anyway, we still ended up with our coffees – Boy with an Americano and me with a soy flat white.

Oh, and a croissant, which I somehow got tricked into sharing.

Wake me up, coffee. I’m ready for the new day.

Boy was still obsessed with this flyer.

Ordoo are working with quite a few great places so it’s definitely one to check out. Word on the street is that they’re known to have coupon codes like ‘welcome3’ for a cheeky £3 treat for your first order!

This post has been sponsored very kindly by our pals at Ordoo, so we can help spread the word about this sweet app! Hello, speedy coffee!
