Breakfast at Two Hands, New York

In New York, I do two things. Eat and exercise. Ming is a serial class booker, and booked a very early morning class. I’ll be honest, with the jet lag, knowing I’d be eating right after was the only thing that got me through it.

Aussie breakfast in Australia is just breakfast. Aussie breakfast in London is getting pretty standard as it’s so popular. But in New York it’s still a bit of a novelty, and people absolutely love it.

Ming’s been to Two Hands a couple of times, however it was still one of those places I’d had screen-shotted on my phone and was just sat there.

BUT THIS WAS IT. MY TIME HAD COME.

Ming, of course, had a tea.

Ming had told me a bit about their Acai Bowls. My Mum absolutely loved them because they’re not too sweet. Apparently they’re pretty popular.

I like mine sweet, so this wasn’t so much for me.

Good thing I got a banging side of Scrambled Eggs, which took me literally 20 seconds to inhale. I kid you not.

Ming had Zoe’s Market Plate, which was 2 eggs (fried/scrambled), avocado, spinach, roast tomato, butternut squash, pickled beets, pumpkin seeds and quinoa.

She asked for no eggs and some smoked salmon instead.
