Lunch at Seed + Salt, San Fransisco

My list of ‘pretty-places-I’ve-seen-on-Instagram-and-want-to-visit’ is a little hectic, but Seed + Salt stood out as one of them, simply because I’ve seen so many Insta girls with vegan wraps and juices from there and it looked so healthy and nice. After all the pastries and other crap we’ve eaten, we needed some healthy in our lives and tummies.

The place was very white, bright, clean-cut and well laid out.

There were also lots of lovely looking treats.

I was making the most of good kombucha (very rare in London) so grabbed a bottle of ginger mint lemonade. I’m not too sure how I felt about the mint in there, but it’s not like a left a drop in the bottle anyway.

There was also coffee and juices galore.

Mum and Dad shared the Falafel Greek Salad – Mixed greens, olives, tomato, cucumber, almond ‘feta’ housemade Greek dressing.

Anytime Ming sees a vegan Taco Salad on a menu, she’ll probably get it.

It was with walnut chorizo, black beans, pico de gallo, cashew crema, toasted pepitas, sprouted corn tortilla chips and avocado lime dressing.

I got two dishes (TRY ALL THE FOOD).

The first, Jicama Tacos – Jicama, black bean tempeh, radish, carrots, cabbage, avocado and tomatillo sauce.

It was good, but I like warm tacos, and this was a bit too chilled for me.

I also got the Cauliflower Buffalo Bites – Roasted cauliflower, housemade spicy buffalo sauce, carrots, celery, housemade bleu cheese dressing.

I’m obsessed with buffalo cauliflower. I didn’t try the bleu cheese dressing though, because even though it’s not really cheese, I’m just not into that flavour!

It was a nice, healthy and light lunch, but it didn’t blow me away or anything. Maybe next time I’ll get a sandwich. And a cookie.
